I am a visual artist and designer working across illustration, environmental graphics, and fine art. My work explores ethereal, non-literal moments through expressive line, layered pattern, and a distinctive use of color, creating immersive visual spaces that evoke memory and atmosphere.
I studied Visual Arts at the North Carolina School of the Arts and Illustration at Parsons School of Designin New York City. After beginning my career with cut paper and gouache, I adopted vector as my primary medium in the mid-1990s, developing a painterly approach that retains a strong sense of the hand.
My work has ranged from comprehensive brand systems—including the Whole Body line for Whole Foods Market—to large-scale environmental art for public and commercial spaces.
Alongside commissioned projects, I maintain an active fine-art practice focused on transformation, place, and the environments that shape human experience.
